Qur’an & Arabic

Principles that guide what and how we teach this sacred knowledge:

  • Teach it in a way that is experiential and cultivates love for the Qur'an
  • Individualize learning to celebrate unique students’ needs and journey
  • Focus on Qur’anic Fluency and Quality of Recitation before Formal Memorization
  • Aim to Memorize the Mufassal (Surah Qaf till the end of Qur’an; close to the last 5 Ajza/sections) by the time a student completes Grade 12
  • Teach Qur'anic Arabic to connect and transform the hearts through the understanding and reflection of the Qur’an
